57 year old Margaret Woolsey was last seen in Manitou Springs, Colorado on August 3, 2025. She was last seen in the area between Bradley Road and Wageman Drive.
She may go by the name Margaret Mitchum, and is known to frequent areas along Platte Avenue.
Margaret lives a very independent lifestyle, but loved ones say it’s unusual for her to be out of contact for this long.
A friend reported her missing to the Manitou Springs Police Department on September 23, 2025.
Investigation
Margaret’s dog, Aja, was left at home alone, which raised red flags for her family since they say she would never leave her dog behind.
Her sister says Margaret had struggled with substance abuse in the past, but was doing well before her disappearance and was living with family in Woodland Park.
In January 2026, investigators announced that foul play could be involved in her disappearance, though they have not publicly named any suspects or persons of interest.

Margaret has brown hair, brown eyes, stands 5’10 tall and has a thin build.
