The Disappearance of Christian Hammond

31 year old Christian Hammond was last seen by his mother in January 2021. He disappeared after being dropped off at an Albuquerque, New Mexico airport so he could return to either Tukwila or Seattle, Washington.

Disappearance

In January 2021, Christian Hammond was dropped off at an Albuquerque, New Mexico airport so he could return to either Tukwila or Seattle, Washington. 

The last known contact with Christian was a phone call with family members on May 7, 2021.

In May 2021, police began investigating his disappearance after a social media message implied he had been shot and killed.

Christian was known to frequent the Aurora, Washington area and attended the Victory Outreach Church in Seattle where he was part of the men’s recovery home. He also studied to become an electrician.

His family says it’s highly unusual for him to be out of contact for this long.

Investigation

On January 25, 2022, police found Christian’s white 2017 Ford Fusion in the 15800 block of 42nd Avenue South near Crestview Park in Tukwila, Washington. 

The vehicle was basically a “biohazard with mold, mildew throughout the interior,” according to Leilah Scott, the mother of Hammond’s child.

Appearance

Black male with black hair and brown eyes. Christian stands 5’11 tall and weighs 190 pounds. He has a bar code tattoo on his ribcage along with the name “Avyanna.”

At the time of his disappearance he had a short buzz cut and a trimmed full beard.

Clothing & Accessories:
Christian was last seen wearing a black beaded necklace with a cross.
